Get started in minutes
Follow these steps to set up Scale Transposer Live on Windows.

Download & install
- → Run the downloaded
.exeinstaller and follow the prompts. - → If Windows shows a SmartScreen warning, click More info → Run anyway.

Set up a virtual MIDI port
- → Install loopMIDI (free) or any other virtual MIDI port - this creates the virtual port that connects Scale Transposer Live to your DAW.
- → Open loopMIDI, click + to add a new port (e.g.
loopMIDI Port), and leave it running. - → In your DAW: set the loopMIDI port as MIDI input and disable your physical keyboard as a MIDI input.

Configure & start
- → Open Scale Transposer Live from the Start Menu or desktop shortcut.
- → Set Input: your physical MIDI controller.
- → Set Output: the loopMIDI port you created.
- → Choose your input and output key / mode, then hit Start.

(Optional) Set up hotkeys
- → Open Settings to assign global hotkeys for switching keys on the fly.
- → Defaults:
Alt + ←/→(root note) ·Alt + ↑/↓(mode).
